NEW!! City Minimum Wage Increases in CA in effect July 1, 2019

Posted by Artemiste Compliance Blog June 14, 2019

New minimum wage rates across several CA cities and counties are effective July 1, 2019. Employers must take action now to be in compliance:

  • Conduct an Internal Audit. Conduct an audit of your current employees and determine if you need to increase the hourly wage for any of your employees.

  • HRIS/Payroll: Don’t assume your payroll provider will make these updates on your behalf; contact your payroll service and notify them if increases are applicable to your employees.

  • Labor Law Posters: Update the required posters with the new increases and post next to the federal and state notices. *
